Don Tomei knows how to craft a compelling message and deliver it powerfully. Drawing on his diverse background as a successful director and actor, seasoned scriptwriter and skilled presentation coach, Don helps his clients establish their key messages and develop a personal and effective presentation style.
Don has worked on hundreds of projects for such diverse clients as McDonald’s, Viacom, Miller Brewing, and Hallmark. For nine years, he has been a lead writer for General Motors’ GM Product Library, a multi-media training program for dealership employees worldwide. He has also written and directed training programs for Lexus, Volkswagen and Toyota, among others.
Prior to entering the corporate world, Don spent several years in professional theater as an actor and director. He applies these skills to his coaching work, clearly “seeing” each client’s starting point and performance objectives. Don eliminates nerves and distracting habits and helps each client focus on the personal strengths and unique qualities that will make their presentation stand out.
Working with Don is challenging and fun. With boundless humor, incisive observations and focused discipline, he works with his clients to create a well-honed, entertaining and effective presentation.
Don holds a BA in Performing Arts from the American University and is a certified Qigong instructor at the Tai Chi Center of Chicago.
